{Isla Emmanuelle}
I spent part of my Easter afternoon with the Rice family {Lindsay & Mason....AND sweet baby Isla}.
It was fun to hear these new parents relive their birth story as they excitedly told me all of the details. Lindsay hired a doula {yay!} and was in labor for 33 hours. She delivered naturally-drug free, at the hospital {with Dr. Harter} and Mason got to catch his baby girl himself (it's kind of neat to be able to say that your husbands hands were the first to touch your baby.) He said it was one of the coolest things he's ever done, and YES.... he cried like a baby. I LOVE it! I feel so honored to have been there to see these two get engaged, get married and now welcome baby Isla into their family.

{I am obsessed with her!}
{Kacie} Maternity
Last week Dustin & Elle accompanied me on my maternity session with Kacie, Charlie (Dustin's old co-worker), & their adorable little man Halen. Afterwards, we all shared appetizers at the Yard House & hung out. It was so nice to catch up with old friends and spend time together. Kacie, you are one hot momma!
This was by far the windiest, grossest day every & Kacie wasn't phased by it! Love that.
And Ps, is it just me or does Charlie totally look like Jason Segel?
The {Lavietes} Family:
I had the great pleasure of spending some time photographing this gorgeous family recently. I can't remember laughing harder at this goofy bunch. {Throughout the session, it really got me thinking about how amazing it would be to have a few more kids-seeing the dynamic between these older "kids" & their parents.}
